Apple halwa

Its your navratra fast so why no go on FRUITS  only and that too just an apple,i know sounds difficult but  let me make it easy for you,why not do some twist with it and prepare simple recipe which is much healthier than other sweets, have apple halwa rather than raw apple,lot of people just hate the name of apple and never wanna eat it raw but it makes me remember an old saying “An apple a day keep the doctor away”…

Cooking & Preparation Time: 15-20 mins

Serves 2

Things to collect: 

2 apples two keep doctor’s away

6-7 spoons of sugar

1/2 spoon cardamon powder

1/4 spoon nutmeg powder(dalchini)

4 almonds grated

1/2 cup milk

1 spoon desi ghee

Quick Recipe:

  • Grate the apple 
  • In a pan add ghee,grated apple and along with add add sugar and caramelize it..

NOTE: images.jpg

PUT THE SUGAR ALONG WITH APPLE,OTHERWISE IT WILL GET BURNT AND THE TASTE OF APPLE WILL REMAIN RAW
  • Cook it for 10 mins or until it becomes dark brown,add cardamon and dalchini powder and again cook
  • Now add milk and cook for 5 mins.

Serve with grated almonds on top..
