Thank god its Friday, a lazy day, after a busy week in office or home all I want is to relax. My cooking should also get some rest Bingo..Let’s prepare a chutney, the name itself gives a tangy flavor with winking eyes. Give it a twist by using Guava, as it is known to have a sweet and a sour flavor. Imagine the taste of the chutney infused with so many flavors.
This chutney will not only add flavour to your meal but suffice the fruit intake.
Cooking & preparation time: 10 mins
- one medium sized guava (red guava is mostly preferred, you can even use green one which is not ripe)
- half tomato
- 8-10 coriander leaves
- black pepper
- 1 green chili
- salt to taste
- 1/2 spoon lemon juice
- Put all the ingredients in a jar except lemon juice and pour 2 spoons of water.
- Churn it in the grinder.
- Then put lemon juice and mix well, you can add more water to as per the consistency required.
- Eat it with Guava slices, or any dish you feel like or just a simple chapati and chutney, the crunchy flavor of the seeds, the sour and sweet taste will make your tongue rock & roll.
