Falhari Nachos

I was wondering that nature has so much to offer to us in addition to which it has given us most important thing which is FOOD and people who invented different varieties of food products and drinks all around the world, Nachos is one of them invented by Ignacio Anaya

Nachos a snack or appetizer consisting of  small triangle piece topped with cheese, chilli & pepper…All time favourite to munch snack but Wait its Navratra that going on which means say NO to Nachos but again datewithfoood brings to you  a falhari recipe of nachos to keep you happy and let your tummy have a rock and roll.

Serves 2


  • 1  cup rahgiri aata for dough
  • 1/2 cup rahgiri aata for batter
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin,chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup boiled potato ,chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup paneer, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup peanuts roasted and coarsely grinded
  • 2 spoons hung yougrt
  • rock salt or sendha namak to taste
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 spoon black pepper
  • 1 spoon lemon juice

For Salsa Dip:

  • 4-5 spoons hung curd
  • 1 spoon peanuts roasted and finely grinded
  • rock salt or sendha namak to taste
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1/2 spoon black pepper

Steps :

  • prepare a dough using rahgiri aata, half boiled potato, salt and water as required.
  • Roll it in circular and cut into triangle pieces
  • Make a paste using aata and dip triangular pieces into it
  • Heat a pan and fry above pieces on low flame until crisp and golden brown
  • In another pan add remaining potato and all other ingredients and cover & cook until soft
  • Put the preparation on fried nachos, top it with curd and grated paneer
  • Prepare the dip by mixing all ingredients
