You cooked the dal for everybody in the family but due to some reasons some of the members couldn’t eat or children escaped your dal which you made with so much of love for them, or you didn’t like the dal cooked by your maid, so just throw it away……..HOLD ON….Why to discard it when there are alternatives available and everyone starts wishing that more and more of dal is leftover..so read the recipe’s and save your dal from lying in the dustbin….
#Recipe of Kabab’s using Leftover dal:
Cook the dal on a slow flame so that all the water gets soaked and it becomes solid, now add chopped onion, add garam masala, few coriander leaves, chopped green chilli (if its a tadka dal then add only few masala or as per your taste), salt as required.
Now add boiled potato (add 1 potato in 4 bowls dal), gram flour and make small balls, roll over bread crumbs and shallow fry them in a pan using oil on slow flame until it becomes crisp.
#Recipe Of Paranthas using Leftover dal:
Mix leftover dal in flour in the same way as you use water, add 1 teaspoon oil, chopped green chilli, chopped onion, ajwain, little salt and knead it in a soft dough, roll it into paranthas and cook them.
#Recipe of Kofta using Leftover dal:
Cook the dal on a slow flame so that all the water gets soaked and it becomes solid, now add garam masala and chilli powder, make small balls.
Make a batter using gram flour, add little salt and turmeric powder, now dip the dal balls in the batter and fry them, your kofta’s are ready, make gravy of your choice and dip the kofta’s in it…
